Black Farmers & Urban Gardeners Conference

In our workshop we will explore the many medicinal uses of this root vegetable from which both Black and Brown communities have created relationship with, using it in cultural practices for nutrition, celebration and survival.  

We invite you to join us as we explore the stories of our ancestors and how they worked with the sweet potato to help our communities thrive.

We will have some demonstration dishes, share recipes and practice regeneration.
